What are the training times?
The training is from 09.00 to 16.30. At noon there is an hour lunch break. There is sufficient rest in between so that you are able to absorb the training material. In the case of the five-day TOGAF® Certified Training or three-day ArchiMate® Training Course, an exam is scheduled on the last training day.
Does it matter if I attend the TOGAF or ArchiMate training first?
No, there is no fixed order. The TOGAF® standard & ArchiMate® standard are discussed in both courses, as these two have many points of contact and are interwoven. However, these are two standalone courses, which you can follow without prior knowledge.
What is the required prior knowledge for participation in a training course?
Our training courses are attended by senior enterprise architects, but also by prospective architects. Knowledge of other architectural frameworks is not necessary. The training courses are comparable to the level of higher education.
Are there hotels near the training location?
There are more than enough hotels in the vicinity of Utrecht. For instance, our students stayed in these hotels:
- Hotel Mitland, 5 minutes from the training location (outside the centre of Utrecht)
- NH Hotels, 15 minutes from training location (in the centre of Utrecht)
The Unit Company has no agreements with the above mentioned hotels, we just based this on the recommendations of our students. If desired, we can arrange the hotel reservation for you. If so, please contact us.
What is my Candidate ID for Pearson VUE?
Your Candidate ID is the same as your registration number of The Open Group.
Can you become TOGAF® Certified 10th edition in five days?
Yes, as is shown by our success rates: more than 90% of the students pass their first attempt at the Foundation exam and the Certified exam.
Through the use of practice questions that will be covered during the training, you will enter the exam well prepared.
Because we believe it is important that you gain a lot of knowledge about the TOGAF® standard as well as about Enterprise Architecture, our training combines theory with practical examples. This way you are ready for the exams, but also for the application of the acquired knowledge in practice!
Are there any extra costs for the exams?
The costs for exams and training materials are included in the training package. There are no hidden additional costs. For more information about the training and the associated costs, please check the corresponding training page. Take a look at the training overview.
